need some advice

Hey Guys,
brand new to the thread and not extensviley nowledgeable with cars..
But i love maximas..
I have a 1995 Max SE 5 Spd and it has 114,000 on it... Right now it kind of seems like the clutch pad might be slipping, and it just seems to be getting old.. also it seems as though my gas mileagle is terrbile (engine seems to rev unusally loud) i know I need a tune up pretty bad but i was just wondering if there is anything i can do to basically fix it up my self to just make it run over all better.. i was thinking maybe its with the spark plugs.. not sure.. any tips? i love maximas and i wanna make it run like i just got it again
thanks!

I would suggest getting a Hayne's manual. It will make you more knowledgeable on doing the tune-up yourself.

As far as the clutch...I would try to find someone in your area that can help. I know if you were down here in Dallas that we have a few Dallas Nissan Enthusiasts members that would help change one out for some pizza and beer.
