Drove a V5 maxima for about 1/2 hr
Stopped at the red light and car shakes violently @ idle (as if it wanted to die). when light turned green i noticed weird shifting...uneasy accel. CEL came on as well. Took it to the shop and got a cylinder 1 misfire code. Tests were ran, sparks were re-checked (just got new ngk irdiums) and there was nothing wrong. Drove it again and everything was fine.


WTF?


any explanation of this? does this happen often due to wear and tear ? (going on 66,000 miles on 97 gxe).

bad fuel maybe because the same thing happend to my mom i30.
