i have a '95 SE w/o the bose system in it and i tried installing my blaupunkt mp3000 in it today. I got the wireharness hooked up to the car and the cd player and when i turned the electric on the car on the antenna went up...but the radio didn't turn on. has anyone else had this problem? anyway that anyone can help me with what to check? any input is greatly appreciated.

Did you have the antenna cord to the back of the radio hooked up? In alot of later model cars the head unit won't power up without that cord connected.
