is there any way this can be done with foglights?

Well, I know you can rewire the foglights so they stay on when you have your high beams on, but I had another idea and was wondering if anyone could help or has done this... Rewire the foglights so that:

1. They are on whe dims are on...
2. They go off when your high beams are on...

(so far this is just like stock)

BUT.... Can you rewire something somehow so that your brights AND fogs come on when you pull the turn signall stalk toward you (the flash to pass function) This means all the original characteristics of the system remain, except the flash to pass function. When you flash to pass, you fogs will also come on (as long as you have the fog switch in the on position). So, all you're really messing with is the flash to pass function. Being repetetive, I know, just so that people get what I'm saying and don't tell me to look in the faq's for the regular foglight rewire. If you're having trouble understanding what I mean, just ask and I'll try to re-explain. If you can help, let me know. Thanks!

The flash to pass is basically momentarily switching to high beams. So how would be able to have the fogs off during high beams but on during flash to pass?

exactly. I know this. What I DON'T know is if there is any way to... i dunno, put in a relay off the flash to pass function, so it only does it when you pull back. The flash to pass and highs are on the same circuit I believe, but is there some way to separate the circuits so that the flash to pass incorporates the foglights as well, while still leaving the original highbeam on/fogs off function alone. Just so when you need to flash someone obnoxious, they get highs and fogs. This is only to modify the flash to pass function.

There is no function to separate. Basically there is not a flash to pass function if you will. You only temporarily turnon the high beams. So I doubt you'll be able to do this.

If you can find the power wire from the "flash to pass" switch in splice into it and run it to power on the foglights themselves then theoretically it should work, but good luck finding that wire.

hmmm. well, i forgot how the original fog light rewire was done, but maybe I can work a switch into the equation, so i can have stock when the switch is off and rewired fogs when the switch is on. Maybe like a contact switch that operates only when pressure is on it. I dunno. Maybe I'll try it out.
may just end up doing regular fog rewire. thanks for the input tho!!!!
