Don't all cars come with clear headlights? How else would the light ge on the street. Also the FAQs are as good as it's gonna get. The instructions are great and I suggest you have someone else do it. If you think you can't do it you won't do it...

how could a light "ge" on the street?

with corrections....how could a light "get" on the street?

I know a light can be "flashed" on the paved surface of the street but i didnt know it could "get" on the street....

ANYWAYS.....

jk...i wasnt saying that the instructions were bad but they are for 97-99 maximas...i have a 95 and although they are almost exactly the same the subject scares me away from doing it...

Should i just go ahead and try it? or do the instructions vary a lil bit for the 95?...it might be a stupid question but i dont feal like messing up my tail lights any times soon....

thanks for the input not for the criticism :P

I'm confused about the clear headlights? I'm pretty sure that mine are stock with clear headlights. But you can't do red/clears with a 95 like you can with 97-99's.

You can't change them to red/clears as the orange can't be cleared. Only option is to find all clear TAILS(good luck, almost impossible), wait for CUSTOMMAXIMA(almost impossible), or make the orange red. I'll be doing the third option. Get some candy red vinyl or paint and get to work. Also why did you ask about the headlights and suddenly you don't care anymore???

i do care...i really do!

i just forgot hehe...

Im looking for the headlights that are completely see through like some of the NEW cars out... i have the glass ones that u cant see through them clearly... LIGHT DOES GET THRU but they are i guess blurry? i dunno what the word is... as soon as i get batteries for my digi cam i will take pics so u know what i mean...

I have seen many maximas on this site with those headlights... but i dunno if they are stock or not.... Maybe they are newer maximas(97-99).... i dunno thats why i posted this so i can find out...

Yeah the 97-99 maxs have clear plastic lenses while we have clear/blurry glass lenses. Ebay has them for like $150 a pair...

no the 95-96 headlight lenses are blurry anyway... you can't just clean them. The 97-99 lenses are the clear ones and they look much better. You don't even need to do anything else to do a conversion either.
As you know there is no red/clear conversion for 95-96 owners, but if you look on ebay for a while they occasionally have them, but bid quickly because they go fast. Your other options are altezzas or you can go here http://www.vqpower.com/v2/modules.ph...howpage&pid=41 for quick easy inexpensive instructions on how to "red out" those tails. I hope I helped you out.
Also XeroX it wasn't exactly necessary for you to go off on ivelweyz for a letter he missed. Hes been here a lot longer than you have and you can definitely learn something from him.

Yes you can just put the 97-99 headlights in a 95-96. They all mount in the same way. Same goes for grille, front bumper, fenders, and hood. the only thing that changes are the rear taillights and trunk.

95-96 have frosted glass. 97-99 are clear plastic.
Here's the front end of my 95 GLE with 97+ headlamps.

The guys thought it would be funny to put chinese reaturant menus under my wipers.

There was a group deal on them for about 2 weeks ago, maybe still going, and they are quite expensive for like over $300 a pair.
