The 2nd generation of Altezza's look hot for the Maxima and I want to get them but they're only advertised for the 97-99. The tail lights for the 4th gen Maximas look alike except for the placement of the reverse lights and such but other than that, the physical casing looks alike. Does anyone know for sure if the gen2 altezza's would fit my 95? Here's an ebay link to one of them. TIA!

No they won't fit. You would have to get a 97-99 trunk to make them fit.

 

The outter lamps would but the inners would not (like the previous poster said)

I have a 95 SE, and I was going to replace my tail lights with Alteezas Gen. II http://www.custommaxima.com/AltezzaGenII.php , or just the red/clear tails http://www.custommaxima.com/RedClearTails.php. These are only listed for 97-99 models. Is there any way to get them for a 95 or to modify the trunk lid that does not fit these. Is there perhaps a nice substitute?

 

Nope, not unless you swap out the trunks with a 97-99. If you want to do this check in the FAQ's.
