since I just found out what a gas gusling (however u spell it) piece of sh*t my car is.....I have to get it fixed for better fuel economy ..problem is I have no frickin clue what the cause is...had a full tune up like 5months ago..so I'm not sure wheather take it to the dealer or to a mechanic that my friend recommands.....

 

fuel filter but it's probably the knock sensor. How many miles do you get from a full tank? I get about 260...

how could the fuel filter be the problem? when a dirty would just block the flow

 

could be a knock sensor problem...i would take it to the dealership over a mechanic definately. You feel any power loss or hesitation with your car? I dont think its a fuel filter...

 

Raise your tire pressure to 33 all around. Put in a bottle of Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner. Maybe your KS and front O2 sensors are dying
