OBX is certainly not crappy, the tip just needs to be aligned properly.

Oh yeah,

MR=Rice

OBX=nice tone

OBX>MR

Greddy SP=OBX (sorta)

Apex'i WS>All

um...no the OBX is cheaper for a reason. u can get the OBX (all three types) for 299 without shipping, and the SP and SP2 are a lot more expensive. the greddy gives a better tone, but can drone, and not worth that much more money. heres a description off of http://maxmods.dyndns.org/?MaximaCatbacks
"Megan racing Catback
Description: A new catback for the maxima. It is made to fit 97-99's maximas only, But can be made to fit 95-96's. The exhaust is somewhat loud and sounds buzzy when you let off the gas. But idle and cruising tone is nice and deep. It is made from stainless steel, has 2.25" diameter piping, is mandrel bent, has a resonated B-pipe, the muffler has a big 4.5" tip with removable silencer and a nice mirror finish.
Cheapest price: Around $300, call them to order http://meganracing.com"

I haven't heard Megan's catback, but the sound clip I heard of OBX's sounds like an exhaust off of a Civic. Sounds way too farty. To each his own.

The sound clips of Greddy's I've heard sound amazing. Very deep tone, almost V8 like.

Wait for Greddy's new SP2 cat-back exhaust. It will be out this month according to Greddy, as well as a few other people who are not with greddy have told me. I know I am going to get Greddy's new Sp2... It should be the best Exhaust out there for 97-99 Maxima's...

I greddy didn't say, but CustomMaxima.com said, that they'll be the first carrying it which is proble BS, but they said they price should be around the same as the Previous model Greddy's SP. Which is around $520.00... It may or may not be out of your price range. If it is out of your price range i suggest saving up for it because the Greddy SP2 will be well worth the money spent...

yea OBX is nice, good deep sound (i dont think its very ricey if youve ever heard one in REAL life, or seen the new video clip/sound file of it) The SP and SP2 are too expensive...period

well not really out of my price range---I would rather have greddy all the way--just my parents dont want me to put too much money into the car --i have saved up a pretty good deal of cash from working at publix so they said i could spend around $300(b/c i hardly ever spend any)-- so i think i'll probably go with the obx

Exactly. Sound clips NEVER justify the real sound of an exhuast, especially the OBX.
