okay, last time!

i know everyone is real sick of hearing about the knock sensor, but i was wondering if it is possible for my car to throw the code, and yet my sensor somehow still be good.

it just seems like my car is pretty quick, and from what i have read on here, if your sensor is out, you would definitely notice it. wouldnt be as "zippy".
im just not sure. but what the hell do i know.

maybe i just dont know what i have been missing out on! that would be kind of funny.

the only other codes were my o2 sensor, but that was when i had my straight pipe in, so i assume the rear sensor was reading that; and my speed sensor, which didnt surprise me, because my speedo was off a few mph. does that affect my odometer?

I got one for you guys. The only code I get is the KS code. Cleared it and went to the track and ran 9.543 1/8 mile track. Came back and the code was there again. Checked the ground points and they were clean. Absolutely no corrosion. What is the damn deal! I put nothing less than 93 octane in it. If aint broke I don't wanna spend upwards of 90 bucks for nothin.

HELP!

Get a multimeter if you don't have one, borrow one, whatever, and check it directly.

It varies drastically. On the highway I got almost 400 miles out of tank. In the city depending on wheather or not I got lead foot I get aound 320. My mileage is just over 99K. As I stated before this is the only code.
