Car won't start...help please

We relocated the battery to the trunk for the turbo install and we can't get the car to start anymore. For some reason the engine ground was off at first so we reconnected that with the same results. We also tried to run a cable directly from the battery to the ground cable at the front where the battery used to be.

I'm beginning to suspect the Holley Annihilator battery is the culprit but the car won't even jump start even when connected to another car via jumper cables and the other car has been running for 10-15 minutes. The car hasn't run in about a month and a half but it is otherwise in the same condition as when it stopped running. When I try to start it just barely tries to crank but it won't really turn over. Other than that we're stumped and the car has an appointment for some welding work very soon.

Thanks for your help...

Your starter may have bit the bullet.

Is there any way to diagnose the starter? I've noticed a slow cranking over the past year sometimes, especially when it was cold. But I always attributed it to the Holley battery which was rather weak.

We're going to get a new battery since the one in there is shot anyways. We'll see after that.
