Getting Alteeza Lights for my Maxima, what color?

I have a Dark Blue 95, getting Alteeza Lights. They come in Chrome or Carbon Fiber. Which ones do you think will look better with my color?

Get the chrome and do the Skyline tail light mod....thats the only way to make regullar altezzas look halfway decent without getting Gen 2's (which you can't yet).... I'm guessing you prolly wouldn't even consider Red/Clears

if you have to get altezzas, do the skyline mod, looks very good on darker cars IMO. otherwise, i would just red out what you have. it all depends on what you want for your car

I own a 2000 Civic EX coupe. I really like the OEM tails on it, I wished my Maxima had those, they are clear on the bottom and and red on top . I would not change those for any aftermarket tails . I hope someone comes out with some red/clears for us 95 & 96 owners soon.

WillMax95,

If you really like the Altezza's get them. Most people here don't like them, but you are the one that has to like them, its' your car. I would opt for the darker ones if I was to get them.

you can't blame the car for looking "ricey", its the people that own them that make them that way. maximas can just as easily look cheap with the wrong owner.

actually, a lot of stock civics have red clears, and a lot of corollas do too (not sure all the years, but my 97 ce does) so in a sense, when someone with a maxima gets red clears...is that rice because civics have them?

I am part of the Anti-Altezza Foundation League--we area a rather large group that sneaks out in the night and steal the cheap-plastic ugly things of rice cars and replace them with better looking red'clears. Its quite fun! I encourage all to particiapate! Just put altezzas on you car and leave a glass of beer and cookies on your hood and go to sleep! we will come by and help you out!--make sue you are sleeping - NO PEEKING!!

note: this post s in all good humor and in no way is it meant to promote the stealing of property in any manor and there it is not demoralizing santa by mentioning cookies

i agree with you there. its his car and his money, so when it comes down to it (all opinions aside) choose what YOU want. if you are interested in cf or gunmetal altezzas, check these out from southwest. IMO the only real draw back there is the lines across the outter lens

as long as you have clearly functional turn signals, brake lights, headlight indicators (that kinda low glow when ur head lights are on) and clear backup lights, you will pass. Dont cover your back up lights or else you wont pass inspection

I think that the majority of the vote would go to "no altezzas". Just clear them out... Altezzas seem like two huge alien eyes staring out at the person behind you.
