I finally fixed my huge Evap,Egr,everything problem
ok i finally fixed my 1 Problem .
This problem set off every code and just gave me the roughest idle i had ever seen... after codes such as high/low egr, evap purge contol valve selonoids and all this bs.
It was 1 Bolt.
This 1 Bolt was gone. And the opposite side was really loose and i noticed it.
The Bolt is on the EGR Bronze pipe which connects to the BACK side of the engine , it connects to the Main EGR with a large bolt that then runs behind the engine where you cant see and its kinda under the IACV as well. Yeah i thought the IACV was blowing off air for the longest time but Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeahh. I Found it
it connects with 2 bolts. *b* (pipe) *b*
*b* - represents a bolt. 1 was gone the other was missing.
This Fixed all My PROBLEMS , everything, the car runs like new like it runs so smooth you can hardly "feal" it even running. This has filled me with extreme confidence in my car when i was just about to throw my last hours of work in on the car. I've spent alot of time learning this car and trying to fix/ figure out my problem , It's funny how 1 bolt really can change a car & a driver.
Anyone with a rough idle i suggest you look into this first!
thanks for everyone's help org. this place is home
edit: it hasnt ran this good in 50,000 miles. 145, 000 od now.

Wow... so anyone have an EGR system diagram that shows what this problem does? (not a 4th genner but I'm curious )
does it cause an intake manifold leak? (and that therefore causes the rough idle?)

This is for a 3-gen VE30DE but you get the idea. Very similar
