Power Steering

I found a pool of fluid coming from one of the rubber hoses attached to the power steering cylinder.
How easy is it to drain, fix & refill the system if I do it myself?
or is it better to let a Nissan Dealer take care of it?
Also, is it just the hose or could it be something worse? the cylinder is still full of fluid and I see the fluid runs all the way down the hose. Maybe the hose or the locking mechanism is old and cracked, which is causing the leak?

to drain it you need a turkey baster, easiest way, suck all the crap out. Change the hose or whatever and refill...

Does anyone know how much the Power Steering Hose is? I looked in CourtesyParts.com and they were quoting $130 for power steering hose high and $32 for power steering hose bottom. Can I just pick it up at Pep boys?

Thanks.

I have a 99. Which power steering fluid should I use or does it not really matter?
