I use the sillicone ones, not sure of the name but they work great. Also I buff and wax my windows so that may help too...

6 years?! holy crap man !
I change mine annual, but I buy the budget Anco for a couple dollars a blade.
Chances are, if you don't change them regularly, you will get caught at inspection

I recently bought the silicon Triple Edge Blade inserts. They seem to work pretty well and comes with a lifetime guarantee. I guess I'll just send it back to them when they go bad. Also 6 years is a long time. They're not too expensive so I change them every 6 months to a year.

I tried the triple edge replacement blades only, and they didn't clear very well. I replaced them with Bosch micro edge (with the arm) and they work great. Maybe my old arms were bent, but they looked ok.

Using Bosch for the past 2 years. The best quality and value on my opinion.

The consensus from USENET a few years ago was that Bosch made the best wiper blades. That's what I use.

Where did you hear this from? I hope your not just trusting their website's claim to be the best.. and going on first hand information instead..

I use TripleEdge wiper blades. They have a lifetime warranty, so I just staple the receipt to the UPC code and if I have problems, I take them back to Wal-Mart. I have done that several times with no problems. They work well, but if they crack or break, you can get them replaced easily.

OEM. I tried Ancos but they didn't fit and they streaked. I was sort of upset because I heard they are a great replacement.

They didn't fit in the groove so there was always a lot of play and clacking whenever I turned them on. That wasn't the only problem though, they were generally just really streaky.

50 bucks for wiper blades shipped is a little to much for me. I'll try to find some silicone or just get OEM replacements.

If I go to nissan and ask for wiper blades, will they give me real OEM ones? or generic "key value" stuff?

Michelin makes nissan OEM?

i am also in the market for wiper blades.. my friend swears by those winter blades that come wrapped in that weatherproof rubber and says they are tough and durable.. the pepboys ones last a few months but once they go over a frozen windshield, it's goodbye irene. the piaa ones that have the CF finish are funky.. i saw them at a meet and looked great. but like someone said, 50 bucks for blades is way too much.
i will be going to walmart this weekend and look for the lifetime warranty ones.
