96 maxima gle...with bose sound system stock. um yea i turn my car on the other day and there is no power to it. when i press power nothing. no display or anything. the DISC light doesnt light up even tho i kno wthere is a CD in htere. i checked the fuses under the steering wheel, they are all good. i have yet to take it out, im gonna go do that now. however the back lights in it do light up so there is somethign going through it. any suggestions for looking and trouble shooting??

 

Bose headunits tend to have problems alot. Mine does not play CD's anymore...and the screens does not light up either. Get a new headunit.

 

it happens to us. mine 2 weeks after i bought mine too. It will come back on its just something you can either try to fix or let it go and itll turn on eventually.
