Recall #P81520 96' "Emissions System Componant Replacement"

Recall #P81520 "Emissions System Componant Replacment"
Here is what they replaced:

P 81520 Replace FRONT/REAR OXYGEN SENSOR

1 18795-40U01 SEPARATOR-
1 01552-01231 CLAMP
1 18791-40U02 HOSE-DRAIN
1 64825-40U05 BRACKET-CA
1 18791-40U01 HOSE-DRAIN
1 22690-40U06 HEATED OXY
1 22690-40U16 HEATED OXY
1 226A0-40U62 SENSOR O2
1 18792-0L700 ELBOW-AIR

Total Charges $0.00

My car feels alot better low since my other Oxygen Sensors have been tripping my CEL for about a year now...and every time I would reset the light, 40 miles later the light would come right back on. As for the other things on the list, I dont even know what they do, but the service guy told me it comes as a kit and this is the first one they have done in about 4 years

As for the dealership careing about mods, They Don't...A recall is a different thing than warentee...A recall is a Wide thing...a warentee covers stuff that you may break as far as changing things on your car...Nissan still gets paid for doing recalls, almost like giving them business

There is an entire thread on this.

I took mine into the dealership a week or so ago and they had to order a recall kit, or thats what they called it. The kit just came in and I have an appointment on thursday to get it fixed. I had the same problem with my cel coming on all the time. Mine came on every 300 miles or so, but it was all the EVAP crap.

Only applies to certain 95-96s, not all of them.

True, I had the same thing with the kit...brought it in last week then they said they had to order a kit...brought it in a week later and all the stuff was installed. My light was comin on every 40-80 miles or so..

They funny thing is, the first place I called was O'Brian Nissan I think in Hawthorne NJ (the only place I trust with my car) they explained that the recall only apllies to the Sun-Belt states like Texas, California, Washington State..but the next two dealerships I called had different infomation

Now to find some freebies for a 98. Any other recall out there for 98s besides the alternator?
