Normal temperature range for engine coolant?

I measured the resistance across the engine coolant temperature sensor in my car yesterday, but I am unable to determine if the measurements are in line with the chart displayed in the Haynes guide (6-11).

With the engine cold, the resistance measured 1.7 kOhms, which corresponds to roughly 70-90F in the chart. With the engine warm, the resistance measured 473 Ohms, which corresponds to approximately 140-160F. Do the temperature readings gathered from the chart match normal cool/warm engine coolant temperature?

I do not know the temperature of the engine coolant, as the gauge in the dashboard only displays C - H. I couldn't find any specifications for the range of engine coolant temperature in either the Haynes guide or the owner's manual.

This post references the specs for the ECTS, and lists measurements at 68F and 194F:

Are 68F/194F the normal coolant temperatures for a cold/warm engine?

Thanks.
