Need Help W/ VIN Numbers!

OK, So I called Nissan to order a variable intermittent wiper stalk for my 97 GXE. Currently, I have the 3 speed, and not the variable speed wipers. They tell me that I need a VIN number from a Maxima with the Stalk. I also wanted the visor with the Homelink transmitter, and the same thing goes.

If you have the Variable wipers, or the Homelink, could I please get your VIN through a PM or email so that I can order these parts. It would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know which of the parts you have so that I can specify to the dealer.

Thanks you very much. Now I can call my parts guy. I'll be on my cell for a few minutes. I sent you my info just in case you still doubt. Hey MrEous, What street do I live on? ha ha
And not in Dallas!

It worked. He looked up the part using your VIN, and he'll edit the actual part number if your interior is a different color than mine. I really appreciate it man. My wife says thank you as well. She was tired of fumbling with the damn garage door openener, and she hates the 3 speed wipers. Once again, Thank you.

did you check junkyards and ebay? i got my switch from a junkyard a while back for really cheap. as long as it's for the appropriate/specified year, they should all work. the install of the wiper lever is one of the easiest things i've ever done. goodluck swapping all your stuff
