I have the black leather and luxury package on my 3rd gen...but that 4th gen interior is pure sex...OMG you guys are lucky....though i do still prefer the external styling of mine..

That pic is directly out of the Nissan dealer sales brochure for the 97 Max SE (and presumably 98,99 as well). I have the one from the original purchase of my car. If you take super good care of your leather with nasty smelly leather conditioning products, it *might* look remotely close to as good as that. But the fact of the matter, tan or black or whatever color, it's just not as high quality as it looks in the pic. The SE-Limited in 99 however, is closer to what you see in that pic.

 

Nissan leather sucks, comparable to vinyl IMHO... The 5th gens have somewhat decent leather... Plus u slide around like a **** with leather...
