Alright my OEM muffler finally just rusted at one point and fell apart and my car decreased in performance, gave me a really loud noise as usual and my overdrive would turn off all the time till I got a whole new exhaust/muffler and than everything went back to normal. Nice sound, good performance but a week later I saw jerkiness in my car again for a day and the O/D light turned on again . But....when I turn on my headlights it wouldn't come back and this was the same thing when my muffler was busted...turn on the lights and no more O/D off. Since last week I haven't had a problem but does anyone have any idea why this might have happened. Thanks in advance.

just get a performance muffler.

 

Sounds like an electrical problem to me...try the search forum.
