Alignment right after suspension install??!

Hi guys, i was wondering if after you install aftermarket shocks and springs, can you get an alignment right away or do you have to wait a week for the springs to settle?

Don't wait get it right away dude. The spring will only mess the camber but not that much. It won't even affect your alignment specs.

You will need camber adjustment on front wheels.

I saw a VW with lowered shocks that wasn't adjusted. I'm sure he thinks it looks cool cause the wheels are cambered like that, but he's going to regret it when his tires are gone in 3 months.

The point is this: it won't take long for the accelerated tire wear to hurt your pocketbook worse than getting the alignment done right away. Not only that, your car will drive crappy if out of spec.

Wait a couple of days...then take it to get an alignment.

I really wish I would have gotten mine aligned right away. When I changed suspension in July, the tires were pretty much brand new. Here it is November and I'm getting new tires. I'd say get it done now, you'll thank yourself later.

u should wait a week for all the settling to take place, but a few days/ few hundred miles works

I drove back from KC..around 175+ Miles. Hopefully that was enough time before the alignment.
