Summit RPM switch install ??'s

I just couldn't deal with the Harlan anymore. So I ordered this Summit piece. Just orderd it and it came in Friday. I connected all the wires to their right place but it's not working. The red LED comes on but when the set RPM is met, the green LED doesnt light. I used all the old Haraln connections(RPM signal from coil). I'm not sure what to do, is ther a setting the refers to coil per cyl similar to the Harlan that I haven't foind or ?? Any ideas?? I know ther are a coupe of guys here with this switch, so how did you guys get it set up?

You can't use the coil pack with the summit switch. It has to be tapped off the ECU tach wire.

White with a green stripe. It kinda a pain to find. Your best bet is to remove the ECU, take off the clear plastic cover that is over the harness. Cut a few inches of the wiring bundle loose. Spread the wires out so you can see them. I would then tap the wire 4 inches or so away from the ECU so you can put the plastic cover back on. Then once you tap the wire re-bundle up the ECU wires.

I didn't remove the ECU, just removed the black rubber panel that is next to the front passenger's left foot. That's the wire side of the ECU. Cut back the wire wrap and look for the white/green wire. I also set my switch to 3400 and it opens right at 5500.

Yhea, the brit is right. I removed my stock ECU because I had to put in my JWT ECU. There is no reason to have to remove it. Sorry.
