Eibach, H&R, or Tein?

I'm having a difficult time deciding on which springs to buy. I hear that the Eibach Pro-Kit is one of the stiffest springs available, H&R Sport springs are supposedly one of the softest yet has a higher spring rate than stock. I'm very interested in the Tein's but haven't heard or seen too many pics of them installed (hint hint, please post them if you have em). Also I don't wanna go too low because I don't wanna deal with all that camber problem and etc.

Any suggestions or input would be helpful, thanks all.

Tein's may require camber bolts and may be a bit low for the gr-2's to handle for a long period of time.

I have Eibachs, and yes they are stiff. The drop is noticeable to any max owner, but don't expect people to think your car is lowerd.

I wasn't really looking for looks, but more for performance and comfort at the same time because the other day I was on the highway with construction making a turn and lost control for a few seconds. After fish tailing about 3 or 4 times, i finally gained back my traction in the narrow road. SCARRRRY.

Teins provide the nicest drop of any spring. They're stiffer than H&Rs, but not as stiff as Eibachs. I've only heard rave reviews about Teins. I'd pair them with AGXes, Konis or Illuminas though. That goes for the Eibachs as well. If i had to get anything, an Illumina/Tein combo is top of my list. However, it looks like i'm going to have a JIC coilover setup....and that's the holy grail...albeit way more expensive...

With what struts did you pair them?

As I understand, KYB-GR2 last only with H&R (on the good roads). For anything else I would need AGX, Illuminas etc.

I will get GR2 I belive, cannot really afford anything more expensive..

Heres a coupla pics of my setup, im running B+G sport springs...

As far as "perfect" drops, Teins are by far the best springs to go with. You will have to careful about camber as well as paring them with the best and most aggressive struts available (Koni inserts, Illuminas, AGXs). GR-2s IMHO, will only cut it with B+G, H&R, progress, maxspeed, and eibach.

Cut a few coils of the stock springs, and heated them to lower my car.

Well, I have Eiback Pro, and I love my drop, its stiff, but I got used to it, you just have to sacrifice a lil:

Before with 16's

After with 18s

I installed a set of Eibachs on a 97 SE 5 speed last weekend and the drop was like my H&Rs. During the test drive, the Eibachs rode pretty much like my H&Rs.

I've got Eibach Pro-Kit with Tokico Illuminas. If this is harsh, I can't imagine what comfortable is. The ride is amazing tight and comfortable. It's probably the total effect of the whole package.

That's what happens when you get up close to the car on the "after" shot. I used H&R/AGX combo. I wasn't too happy with the drop either but these are the softest springs and I don't want my ride to be uncomfortable.
