I'm just curious to see what the count is now since the MEVI has been available for ~2 years. Also note if it's improved your ET/MPH. I'll start.

#1 MEVI/JWT ECU - so far it's dropped an average of .3 and gained an average of 2.7mph

MEVI/JWT ECU.

I can't really say how much I gained at the track for sure, but it was somewhere around 3 tenths and 3mph. I could say I gained 6 tenths, but that would not be taking the weather and 60' times into consideration.

MEVI here. I was near stock when I got mine so it did not improve my times, but with the mods I have done since I am positive it has helped.

no dyno or times vs non-mevi.

(poll would maybe be an easier way to check)

I got one. Maybe dropped .1 -.2 in the quarter due to the intake. Not as big a difference at the strip as I had hoped for but highway use is awesome.

You should do better. The raised rev limiter is where most of the gains are seen with the MEVI/JWT ECU.

Would you all stop calling it a MEVI....it is a Japanese car and the VI comes standard in most countries, it seems, except in the US.

I would like to see the slips(not actual, just the runs broken down by 60',330,1/8...) I would be amazed to see that much gain with out other variables taking place.

VI - JWT ECU here. car feels so much more 'refined' with the variable manifold.

oh yeah when i was NA i dropped around .29 and gained like 3 mph. thats also with the JWT ECU too so its kind of skewed.

You can't go changing the name of a mod after its name has already been established. Regardless of if it's right or wrong. Just call it a VI if you really dislike MEVI. And the fact is that the 38U manifold is not available in most countries, the VQ25 and VQ20 have the 35U or some variant thereof, after all the research that has been done, no one ever found the 38U on cars other than those sold in the middle east. If someone can prove me wrong on this I'd graciously accept it. It'd be nice if I could explain to people that the VI comes on cars in Japan or something rather than those in Iraq.

Oh I have one too.

MEVI alone gained .0 seconds but about 1mph.
MEVI/JWT ECU gained about .4 seconds and 3mph.
