Exhaust recommendations
Exhaust recommendations
Does anybody have any recommendations for cat back systems? OBX, Greddy, Stillen, Cattman?? I know OBX is the cheapest, but are there any known problems with it? I've heard the Greddy is the best bet, but can anyone confirm this? Any sound clips?
The OBX has fitment issues, the b-pipe hangs too low. Stillen's is loud since there are no resonator(s) in the b-pipe. Greddy and Apexi are both very nice. Here take a gander: http://maxmods.dyndns.org/?MaximaCatbacks

Apexi Ws Exhaust is an awesome exhaust. If you chose to get a y-pipe later on think about getting a greddy Sp, it sounds less farty than the Ws. The Apexi Ws by itself sounds the best with a low growl.

Im actually considering this one, but (1) I have no extra money, (2) the catrback is 2.25 inch diameter ? not sure, (3) I have a 97 and im not sure what modifications need to be made for it to fit ? I wonder if the rear 02 sensor is in the b pipe ?
Anyways, my bet would be that the Apexi WS will sound good at WOT and thats what im looking for. Idle and reving dont concern me !

edit: if the greddy catback is better sounding/less raspy than apexi ws with y pipe. then get greddy

does the b pipe hang too low for OBX on all 4th gens or just 95-96? the 95-96 and 97-99 are different, but i can't think of any 95-96 with obx-h catback.
