Are my door lights (on the driver and passenger side) supposed to turn on when the doors open because i don't see them turning on... The previous owner put piaa xtreme white bulbs in there and i don't remember them ever coming on...

What could be wrong? Is there a switch or something or do the lights come on at a special time?

yes they are supposed to come on when the doors open. why would he put in piaa xtremes if they weren't supposed to come on, you know?

there is a black thing on the body of the car that the door presses in when closed, so when you open it, it is turns the lights on.

pop off the plastic clear piece and make sure there are bulbs in there. if there are, check to see if they're plugged in. (unscrew and look behind to see that) hope that helps, if it's not something as simple as that, i have no idea. goodluck

 

yes they should be turning on and those little **** are good and the dome turns on

i popped off the cover and there are the bulbs in there, i can touch them can't i or are they those lights u can't touch cuz u will kill the bulb?

 

Ok i just pulled out the little lights and it looks like one of them is dead so i'm thinking that if one goes out the other must too cuz the driver side looked perfect. I'll go get new bulbs and see. They are size 194 right?
