Change Tranny Results

I finally did it I change the Fluid in my Auto tranny this weekend (not that anyone care)

But I also drop the pan and found out the around the magnetic rings (sort of) some metal filings. When to a tranny shop and was told that I'm on the way to a failing tranny soon. Cost to repair 1000 smuka ruse.

Is this a valid cost analysis (fair) or are they trying to take me for a ride.

Smilz always

I think the plug is magnetic and is supposed to catch any metal shavings. Im pretty sure some shavings are to be expected. Not sure how many you have or how much is too much though.........

I hope this is what you were talkin about

Save yourself a ton of money on a rebuild and buy my used auto which shifts perfectly. Had it checked out and was told the tranny doesn't have a thing wrong with it. Here's a link

Some metal on the magnet is normal. Was it fine metal dust or big metal pieces? Also, was it a lot (golf ball size) or just a little, e.g. thumb size?

"Cost to repair 1000 smuka ruse" what's that, the equivalent to 18 ounces ?

First you should have titled this changed ATF fluid, and secondly it sounds as if the shop is trying to scare you into thinking your tranny is bad so they can get some "smuka ruses"
