Some advice and a question

Hello everyone. I'm getting my 6.5" components to replace the fizzled Bose speakers tomorrow . I'm asking that anyone that has them in their front door give me some advice on the best place to mount the tweeters and crossover. I don't want to cut the vinyl portion of the door panel for fear of tearing.

And the question I have may be more for the moderators. Can I donate without using Paypal?

-Thanks

talk to James92SE about buying some speaker pods. They fit in the door perfectly in place of the current Bose pod. I have a pic of my pods James made on my cardomain. If you are desperate, I think you can hack up the Bose pod and make it work.

I don't have components yet, so I am not sure where to place the x-over. It would depend on how large your x-over is.

I'm good on the mounting of the midrange. Looking for location for the tweeters without having to hack up my door panel.
