DIY VB mod?

I like the VB mod and I want to do It to my car. Is it possible to do it yourself or does it need to be done by a proffesional? I heard that its not really hard but I havent seen anything on how to do it. Does anyone know?????
Thanks,

are you talkin about modifying the VB yourself or just installing a modded VB in?

installing one should be no problem (unless you're unsure). apparently modding a VB is simple, but I don't think anyone has ever mentioned how to do it... as far as i know

Im talkin about the VB Mod. I want to do it myself. Im pretty sure its just a matter of opening things up and rearranging them, or removing and adding things. I was hoping there was a place w/ step by step instructions along w/ any additional items needed. I heard that you need some extra parts like selonoids or something???

Here are the instructions for swapping out the stock VB with the Mobiltek VB:

http://www.mobiletek.net/vbinstruct.html

It took me double the time to install it and I was able to do this by myself with limited experience. I blew up the diagram so that I could sort out and label the bolts properly. Of course, when you're done and everything works you'll feel good!

NOTE #1: Figure 1 should be tilted on its side so that the cable running down to the terminal body is on the left side of the hand. That is how it looks when you look at the top of the tranny.

NOTE #2: Be extra careful as you lower the VB down from the tranny. There is a small spring that sits on top.

NOTE #3: Take pictures if you can so that you'll know how it looked BEFORE you take it apart! Mental notes don't help as much as you may forget!
