skyline body kit

skyline body kit

hey i was wondering i am goin to buy a body kit and i was wondering how hard it is to put on the skyling bodykit i have not done much with body work .

you'll need to have it preped: sanded, primed, sanded, painted, compounded, polished, etc... and all the inbetween steps. have it installed and all tha tjazz... sounds like fun?

yeah i was just goin to put it on and have other people paint etc i was just wondering is it hard to do

you would have better results if you had them painted first then mounted. mounting is actually the easy part. easier to do with two people (extra pair of hands is always a good thing)

Then again there's the chance of cracking it when fitting it...in my opinion...pay someone to do it...if they break it..they pay for it...if you break it..you pay...and cry at the same time.

you might want to put it on as it is for a week or so so it get streched out and gets use to the body so later on u don't have any paint chips, i learned the hard way.

i have one and i tried putting it on sunday and ive decided i need a body shop there was no way that kid was gettin on wit out a few minor modifications.

The body kit is not very hard to put on. But it would be better to have somebody else do it. You don't want the fiberglass cracking on you. Plus if you have a unpainted bodykit on your car it would look a little ghetto. Get it painted first then install it.

Get the urethane version to the kit no cracking what so ever.
