Piad $20.25 for a fuel filter, should I have got a 300Z one instead?

Piad $20.25 for a fuel filter, should I have got a 300Z one instead?

Bought it at the dealership. Part # 16400-0M200, I didn't get the one for the 300Z because I was unsure which years fit. Did I pay to much for it or is this a regular price? thanks

Any Z32 filter will work, just ask for one from a 1996 300ZX Twin Turbo and you'll be covered.

Just buy one from Advance Auto Parts/Pep Boys, somewhere like that. I dont remember exactly what i paid for mine, but i dont think it was more than $15.

I bought one from autozone, didn't feel like going accross town anytime soon to the dealer. Cost me somewhere around $7-8 if I remember correctly.
