Will 96 SE gauges easily replace 95 GLE gauges?

Hey -

Does anyone who has taken apart the dash (or would otherwise know) think that I could put the gauge cluster (board and all) from a 96 SE into my 95?

I like the white face, but I don't know if you can replace the whole cluster, as it has the odometer and all...

Thanks!

you sure can. you either need to go to the dealer to have the mileage changed, or you can remove the whole speedo section from yours and put it in the new one. all you need to do is take off the needle and the gauge and it unscrews. if you're gonna do that though, you have to be careful and follow the directions exactly or they'll be messed up. i can get you directions towards needle removal and such if you decide to go that route.

Jepht20 - thanks for the info! Seems like it's more trouble (and money) than it's worth to just switch to white gauges...

if you get them on ebay, you can get a deal. also, sometimes people on here sell them in the f/s section for under $50. it's really not too too bad but if not done right, it will give you more problems then it's worth. hope that helps...
