95+ obx catback on ebay

anybody know about these obx catbacks for the 95+ on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2446049561

i recently ordered one on a whim but won't be home to install it until winterbreak (im a college student) should i be concerned about fitment? the price seems reasonable if it is infact the obx catback ppl here praise.

I bought my OBX off that guy in a group deal a while back. You will probably have the same fitment issues as the rest of us, but I think it was a great $265 spent(that's what I paid). Hope you enjoy it.

ed has a y pipe, into test pipe, into obx. It sounds amazing. I myself dont like the rolled tip but eds car growls soooo nice its amazing. The car isn't overly loud, but it just sounds mean

If you want sound clips PM Meccan0ble

I have the OBX type H, which features a canister type muffler instead of the normal style, has a .5'' bigger tip (ick) and sounds very much the same but is louder.

All the obx's have fitment issues, but I love mine for the 235 shipped i paid!

Edit: The fitment issues can be fixed with hoseclamps on your rubber exhaust hangars.

i have a '95, so what will be slightly different than your 97-99 right? what kind of fitment problems did you have? i am scared if i get one w/ a bunghole (for the 97-99) it will be a little long on my car.

The tip was off center to the cut-out in the bumper. Also, the b-pipe hangs low where it goes around the gas tank.(in front of the pass rear wheel) I pulled it up and centered it using 3" stainless steel hose clamps from Home Depot. I wrapped them around the rubber exhaust mounts and tightened until the exhaust was in a good spot. I got the idea from araffio and meccanoble. Theirs is the same way.

97blackSE, I have a high flow cat...not a test pipe Did you get your y-pipe yet?

if you get it from that guy on ebay, you'll probably get the 97-99 cat-back. There was a big issue with that when he did our group deal. He sent all 97-99 exhausts and told them to "just stick a bolt in the hole". Just a warning to ya.

I'd like to get an exhaust, but a lot of them I've heard are too buzzy, which would probably get on my nerves..heh.

the rear O2 sensor for the 95-96 is in the cat right? would it make a difference if a 95 max put on a 97-99 catback and high flow cat on and the O2 sensor was moved further back to the b pipe (where i believe the rear O2 sensor is on the 97's)?

It won't trip it but you''d need a a high flow cat for a 97-99 then. I've been through 2 CARSOUND cats and both have fallen apart on the inside...

I am contemplating between the regular Type H and that one in the link (sp type).

Which should i get and what are the differences? is it a cheap imitation?
