Good afternoon people,
I was having a conversation with a mechanic, and he was telling me some interesting things. He told me I shouldn't get my front strut braces after I get my rims. How true is this? The sway in the car is driving me crazy. If I were to get my strut brace first, is it hard to adjust after you add the rims? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

You will notice an immediate difference without the rims and just the FSTB. When you add the larger wheels you will notice any even more larger difference.

It doesn't matter when you put it on. Just put it on. But for fun, ask WHY you shouldn't do it. That should be pretty entertaining.

That sounds really weird! What reasons did he give for that?
I'd get the fstb regardless. I'm running on my stock rims with the Courtesy fstb at the moment. The fstb just keeps the towers from flexing when you making turns and quick maneuvers and this keeps the tires flat to the ground.

I looked at the guy like he was crazy. Yeah, I'm going to order them this weekend, if not wednesday. I will ask him y not, it should be entertaining. Out of all the Strut braces on the market, who's the best?

Thanks,
Kevin

By the I bolted my sub box down, it was perfect, and cheap all at the same time.

Mechanics don't want you modding up your car because if it breaks they probably won't know how to fix it.

As for the FSTB, it doesn't have any downsides at all. I've had mine four over three years now and it's been great.
