5Spd Trany

Whats up with the search feature it isnt working? N E way I threw a act clutch in my car and now My tranny is about to give. does N e one know where I can get a cheap "new"5spd tranny?

????? How do you possibly know your 5spd tranny is about to give ??????
Bearings are making noise not due to your tranny ??

When Im in third gear its like im in nuetral I was on third gear at about 6500 rpm's and it seemed like the gear snaped and it stayed in neutral all my other gears work 1st 2nd hard to get into 4th 5th reverse work fine.????

That second to third chirp you like to get broke your 3rd gear.

I guess but it is my tranny correct?thats why I wanted to see when i could find a cheap one at

welcome to my world. i just lost my 3rd & 4th gear on the freeway last weekend.

Look at the transmission code on the nameplate situated on the passenger side of the firewall. If the tranny code ends in V (I think the code is something like RF505V), you have a vlsd. If it ends in A, then you don't.
