idle problem ??? anythoughts

Well after cleaning my throttle body on my 97se max, the car has been running alot smoother and feels alot quicker, but the idle moves up and down from like 650 to 750 rpms. I know for a fact the idle is'nt suppose to move up and down and it's really ****ing me off. Also when I start up the car in the morning the idle shoots up all the way to 2000 rpms is this normal????Guys if you can help me out I would really appreciate ,because I know you guys know evrything about the max.

I know you after you clean your throttle body, you're supposed to go back and manually set your idle, write up on here somewhere.

not necessarily true...

With a dirty tb, the air flow is restricted... and now that you have a clean one, the butterfly valve can move easier and the air can flow better... it's a slight side affect, but it shouldn't be THAT bad... just try readjusting and cleaning you IACV... that'll help a lot too... that thing was black when I pulled mine out.

hope that helps...
