Well today, my friends and I had a little race. My car is a 96 with 2k engine (just the engine) and 2k auto tranny. I have 2k2 rims and tires on it also. My other friend has a Nissan 200sx se-r (stick) and my other friend has a jetta (stick). The jetta is the performance one (forget the model). 200 sx is stock and jetta has intake and lowered. Well found a small place (non residential) and decided to race. We all pulled up and the 200sx and jetta reved their engines to 2000 rpm and i had my foot off the gas. My friend counted to 3 and we launched. They took me off the line by half a car but then I rapidly caught up to them and started passing them. After about a 1/8 of am mile, we called it quits. I came in first, 200sx se-r in 2, and jetta last. I had about a car and a half on the jetta and a car on the 200sx se-r. I was surprised but not shocked because i did not launch.
