Was wondering if anyone knew how effective the new stillen ecu was. Also I had heard somewhere that if you got one that because it advances your timing, if I got nitrous on my car and the ecu, it would **** it up. I was thinking of getting this ecu and almost for sure getting nitrous due to how cheap it is compared to say a supercharger.

ECU and Nitrous not good!

The standard ECU's that advance ignition timing are not compatable with nitrous because the extra timing will probably cause detonation with the nitrous.

However Jim Wolf ECU with the nitrous daughter board is the best way to run nitrous on a Maxima. It is available for your year Maxima. So go for it. It gives the best of both worlds. Advanced timing under normal use and retatded ignition timing under nitrous use.

Thanks for the reply. How do you like having the nitrous on your car? What do you consider the pros and cons? Hope to get that on mine soon.
