Busted Fender *Pictures of Crash*

I was driving tonight, and slid into a rock on the side of a small icy road. I am actually pretty calm about it because I only damaged the driver's side fender, the bumper and everything else is fine! I will post pics in a few minutes. Anyhow, I am trying to figure out the best way to repair it. I saw the fender online for around $93, does anyone have any ideas on the best price, value, fitment, painting cost for fenders? Also, what is the forum's general opinion about the www.custommaxima.com z3 fenders. The pics on their page looked like it may have fitment issues, but I may be wrong.

Thanks all for the help,
Skyboarder

free bump

My fender needs to be repaired too, I cover the damage with a bra

What would orgers suggest for Skyboarder and me (what did you do when you had this or similar problem):

- repair dents, (repaint)
- get same color fender from junkyard
- get new OEM (or Z3) and paint it

Thanks guys!

there's always a point where its too ugly to keep. I have small scratches on my back bumper, nothing too serious. This is a hefty damage to me and i would get a new fender and have it replaced. Or fender from junkyard first. If it doesnt look TOO bad to u, then ride with it until u want to upgrade to better fenders but to me that looks

hey skyboarder, I have exact same damage on my driver side fender when I hit a raccoon. The bumper must've pushed in the metal arm holding up the fenders together. Collision shops quoted me 400 dollars because of the stupid labor rates. My friend said he can help me get it out for free and maybe just replace the arm.

I've been driving around like this for a couple of months, nothing biggie, just looks and nobody notices it unless i point it out.

*Bump*

Plus, how much should I pay to get a fender painted?
