Those numbers are mean. Get that 7k redline bud. Anyone else notice the HP is still going up at redline for him whereas a normal VI dyno has the hp going down a little bit from about 6100- redline? Nice.

BTW I paid $1250 for a peak gain of about 3whp. Peak numbers don't mean much when you're racing. Area under the curve is what matters.

On the dyno graph you can see the big spike in power at like 6200rpm, when the VI opens. If it opened earlier the gains would be better. Yes I know it's been said, poop on you.

Screw 7k With upgraded valve springs 7500 RPM looks reasonable given the fact that it looks like he could actually make usable torque up there.

As for peak #'s not meaning **** Right on brotha!!

Those are excellent results I've seen simular gains from cams + exhaust in other nissan engines like the SR20DE and VG30E. Also you can get a JWT ecu in your 99 but you will have to rewire a few pins/sensors. For one thing nissan switched the pins for the crank and camshaft position sensors in the 99 vs 95-96 and the inhibitor switch is now on pin #27. The other differences are emission related and shouldn't affect engine performance much.

Iron Lung. If you are still having VI vacuum canister problems. Just delete it and just use a little one way valve and a longer length of vacuum hose. It's just a storage device. Unless you need to hold the VI open for a long length of time(ie... more than 15-25 seconds), the longer length of hose and the 1-way valve should work just fine.

Thanks Nismo87SE and Jeff92se for the information and ideas. I think I'm going to try the stock intake manifold and try to build up the midrange a bit, even out the power band a bit. I think with the stock intake and an exhaust cutout should produce a better powerband.

A couple of vids of the exhaust without teh muffler connected have been posted on the AZ board(thanks Steve and Danny). http://forums.azmaximas.org/viewtopic.php?t=404

I had to bring this back i cant stop thinking how much power these will give me 7000+ rpms.

I launch around 4000 rpm already, dont think ill lose any time from lowend loss.I should have the cams and lighter valvetrain installed in the late fall car tuned with the e-manage and a dyno.
