Misfiring? NO code

My car has started misfiring intermittently. When stopped, it makes the whole car jerk. When driving, there are noticeable jerks in the power delivery.

The weirdest thing is that I get no CEL and there are no stored codes.

Tonight, I'm going to check the following sensors:
MAF
Cam pos
Crank pos
Crank phase
Coils
Injectors

Is there anything else I should look at?

Bad plugs?????
Faulty injectors????

Hopefully its not the ECU. Check to make sure its connector is bolted in good.

When I changed the plugs about 2 months ago, there was some oil in the #3 plug well. Could it be related? I tried to clean it out as best I could, but there may have been enough seepage since then to interfere...

Possibly. You may have to break down and replace the gasket. That oil could be fouling the spark plug.

I had no code also and had the same isssues as you. I made it come on. Over reved in 2nd. The serivce engine light flashed on and off about 4-6 times. then stayed off. It was enought to lock the computer to run a check. I found out I have a misfire in #5.

Now,,, gotta see if its a injector, coil or plug.

"jumping jesus on a pogo stick"

Does seem to be a problem lately. It's surprising multiple occurrences of a misfire doesn't throw a CEL easier.

Does anyone know the part number for the coil packs? I can't seem to find them online anywhere.

Ya, when my injector went bad, I had to really push the car to get a code. But once you get a code its alot easier to pin point the problem.

Did anyone find out what their problem was yet?

Here's my situation:

Took my car to a shop to have them install my 2k2 muffler.
Next day, car is running rough. Check ECU for stored codes.
0603-Cylinder #6 misfire. Replace all spark plugs (NGK PFR5G-11).
Checked for sparks. Still misfiring.

Decided fuel injectors must be bad.
Swapped #6 fuel injector with #2. Reset ECU, Started car.
Problem got worse, running even rougher. 0701-Multiple cylinder misfire.
Gas leaking out weld in new muffler.

Decided that injector #2 (previously #6) must've been bad.
Checked it with a multimeter, Replaced injector #2 and O-rings
on injectors #2 and #6. Reset ECU, Started car. All GOOD!
Let the gas burn that was in the exhaust, drove around 10 miles.
Everything seemed fine, 0701 returns. Still misfiring.

Pulled injector #4, it was busted. Bad o-rings, cracked.
Replaced injector #4 and o-rings, Reset ECU, Started car.
Checked ECU 0607-Cylinder #2 misfire.

Figured it could not be the new fuel injector. Swapped
coil pack #2 with #6. Reset ECU, checked codes.
Still 0607-Cylinder #2 misfire.

I don't have my multimeter. Could the fuel injector have gone
bad already? Or what other problems could there be causing this
misfire??!

Possibly unrelated: Under 1k RPM, REALLY high pitch noise. Radio
and lights were off. Dunno what it is??!
