MTEC headlight bulbs :)

Well I've been looking into bulbs since one of my piaa's blew. So i ordered some mtec 4350k colored super whites. 65w/45w. Anywho I love the color of these bulbs they are for sure superwhite They are much whiter and crisper then my piaa super whites. I'm going to take some pictures soon....but I wanted to see if anyone else has had experience with this bulb..as far as length of life goes. They have a 4x bulb which is a couple times brighter then the one I have now but its 100w/80w. Is anyone else running 100w/80w bulbs without melting the stock harness?

I'd love to see those pics. I have the PIAA and like them, but I'd even like to go a little whiter to match the Polarg Hyper Whites I have in the blinkers and corners...

Pics NEVER do lights justice. I had some Mtecs last, I gave them away because i had trouble with one randomly coming on and off, the low beam filament was messed up or something. I am running streetglows now, until I install my HIDS

I like the street glows. SUperwhite with a tint of slight blue. If anyone wants them they are yours for 20+shipping, they have been in my car a mere week.

100/85 will melt the harness. Unless they are HID they will suck with visibility in the rain.

I know for a fact that 100/80 will melt. in these lat 2 weeks with some 100/80 i melted my stock harnesses, and i have melted some high heat after market harnesses with them. So i changed back to the stock bulbs.

How can you use 100/80 in your max? When I bought mine, they barely even lit up at all........
