Street Glow UnderBody kit

I'm about to grab a kit, but there is the Blue Line, Gold Series, and LED (newest) from Street Glow. Who's had experience w/the kits? Which is the best and is it prone to breaking with a lowered car? I want to get the best kit, but is there a big difference between all of them?

Any write ups on this? Thanx for all the responses.

I own the gold series kit, it works great...great illumination. I think that the gold series is the same exact neons used in the fast and the furious movies...not 100% positive on that one

Ive spoken to many people on these kits and I think you can see the actual neons, its illegal and secondly, its look like your car is lowered so I dont know how long they're going to last...I was debating to put on a kit couple years ago and then decided that I didnt want to be mistaken for a civic or some other ricer from FF

I was actually thinking about getting a kit but its just one more thing to worry about when going over speed bumps and driveways etc. Especially since they cant seem to be tucked away on maxima's. Otherwise it would be kinda nice when you are just parking or sitting in your car. FWIW, I would only get white neons.

Front and rear should have no problem with breaking unless you hit something or get rear ended. the sides can be mounted in a manner to where you won't hit them on anything, but you'll still have to be careful in certain spots. I was lowered on 17's with mine and had no problems. And even with my bodykit you can still see the side tubes from a distance.

But since you are not allowed on the street (everytime you pull out on the street someone wants to beat your a$$ for your car looking so G@Y) I guess you can't even race no one. SUCKS D!CK just like you do!!! B!ATCH

Y don't you sell that maxima and buy yourself a ****en truck you can do that to, or a ****en civic you dip ****, and $hut the Fu{k UP

hey chilln:

Sorry about these 2 ***** making **** outta your post, but i will tell you what i know of underbody kits. A friend of mine has an IS300. It's lowered, with a kit on it and has streetglow, or maybe liteglow neons on it. He's never had a problem, and the roads out here suck. suck isn't even the word for it, it's like someone randomly threw concrete ontop of the uneven dirt that was there, then just let it dry, then let 500 morons with plows drive back and forth over it and let their plows tear up the road. He now lives in florida, but drives between there and here every couple of months to visit. There's no problem with the neons sticking out, and the color is very bright. If you want i can try and get pics from him, but just remebr this is all about an IS300, not a max. If you do wind up getting a kit, please post pics, because i'm interested in getting a kit myself.

ABK AND FOETRAY:

Why don't you both grow up? I mean seriously, where is this argument going to get you? all you are doing is post whoring this guys thread up... if you want to fight, then pm each other.

ABK, you were out of line on dissin his car, and calling him names. if you don't like his car then STFU. he has a very *unique* car, and some people do not like it. but you have no place to open your mouth on his car if he didn't ask you for your thoughts.

Foetray, your a good guy. i don't know you, but i have read a few of your threads, and you get pounded on relentlessly all the time about your car. i give you props for doing something diffrent and doing something that YOU like and not what everyone else likes. but if some one makes fun of you and your car, the fourms are not a place to take it out in. just ignore the jacka$$'s and go to the more usefull threads.

both of you need get over it.

ha ha, I enjoyed both of the bickering. Anyways, I have neptune blue and am very close to getting the blue gold series kit. thing is, im afraid it will crack in half with the bumps here. Also, i heard there is no place to hide the tubes, therefore, it sticks out waiting to crack. I also dont want it to be pure rice neither. Im very indecisive and just need some help. Gecko, if you can, email me some pics or add them up here.

My fault on whorin' up your thread. Bashin' my ride doesn't bother me but he insulted me personally, so I fired back. I apologize.

As for mounting the side tubes it's hard as hell, but if you can get them right beside the lip under the door on the sides you should have no probs. I can take pics of mine to show you if you like.

Hey chillin.. I have a neptune blue max as well. I think that the blue would look pretty decent on the car. I actually have a gold series set in blue mounted on my other car right now. If you are interested, maybe we can work out a deal, because I want to sell it, and maybe get a diff color.

I have the Gold Series. I think the difference in the Gold and Blue Line is that the side tubes on the Gold Series are a little longer and they are wired in a series. And yes, you will be able to see the side tubes, side skirts or not. I don't think you have to worry about breaking them on a lowered car. My car is bagged and I ride pretty low and have never scraped bottom.
