vibration stopping when under 10mph

Has anyone else experienced this. My 98 GLE Auto with 92K is starting to do this consistantly. As I'm coming to a stop, when I get below 10 mph I feel the engine/trans vibrate as if there is too much of a 'load' on the engine/trans, then it seems the trans shifts out and idle is normal. It's not a violent shaking, however, very noticeable to me. It's similar to the feeling you get sometimes if you start accelerating and have to hit the brakes quickly. Everything else seems fine, idling, acceleration, deceleration (until it's below 10 mph). I don't know if it's transmission or something dragging on the belt. It does it the same way with climate control off, or on (both auto and econ). Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
