I know that but, theres got to be something that can be done to keep it from just rebbing up and no going any where. What I'm tring to say is does anyone else have this problem. It sucks to be raceing and you can't run out your gears and then shift to the next gear. Why have a stick if you can't do that, I have to shift before 3 grand that sucks. I guess what I really want to know or need my rpms to do is to drop faster so that i cant shift to the next gear. I need help there has to be something!!!!! So of you guys tell me how you shift while you race maybe that will hepl me out.

Your wording is very confusing and your question is unclear. If you can't run the car to redline, then something is wrong. There's no reason you should have to shift at 3k rpms, ever.

Run the car to 6k, shift fast, then run it some more. Simple as that.

From reading your post about 5 times, it seems as though your clutch is shot and is slipping at higher rpm's. Get yourself a new clutch and call it a day.

It sounds to me that he is not letting off the gas, or perhaps the cable is sticking. Either way, some communication skills are needed.....
