quick fix for performance
i was wondering if anyone could name quick and decently cheat ways for higher performance and if anyone has a pair of blacked out taillights and headlights i can buy
Hack your airbox...........cut your shifter.........remove your muffler............take out things you dont need in the car..Yes that includes all the trash in the back seat. and depending on whether or not your an auto. Do the drop resistor...mod.
Not really a mod more like un plugging something. but looking at the faq will help you allot as well.

When i replaced my fluid I put that high flowing stuff in.......synthetic stuff...now only one rear blinker blinks..........but its fast as hell.

Sorry, the full name is "Exhaust turbo cam angle manifold".. What it does is that it adjusts the angle of the exhaust turbo manifold to achieve maximum exhaust velocity. It really helps the stock "intake timing cruise advancement butterfly".

See thats what the guy at pep boys told me too........but what I ended up doing...was just cutting a spiral into an old paper towl cardboard holder....and stuck that in there. I get at least 3 more mpg and I feel according to the butt dyno....10hp up top at redline. Its almost like having the MEVI. but I might be selling my angle manifold...to get them...........yep you guessed it.
Exhaust twin turbo cam angle manifold.

well there are various other mods that are being overlooked.
first is weight reduction:
1. fluids are very heavy, i recommend draining all the fluid you can, this includes engine oil, tranny fluid, brake fluid, radiator fluid, and blinker fluid.
2. Doing the drop resitstor mod may make your tranny shift quicker, but its still heavy! i recomend doing the drop transmission mod, rip that sucka out there... who needs a transsion anyways anyway
Now the powerplant mods:
1. We've all seen those resistor mods on ebay, well buy as many as you can. Place some on all possible electrical wires. Throttle cable, ignition coils, grounds, oxygen sensors, knock sensors, temp sensors, speaker wires, and airbags should all have resistors on them.
Turbos: Turbos are expensive, or so you thought. Home depot sells blackman gas powered leaf blowers, hook one up to your very cold air intake and you are boosting. who knew?
Hope this helps, maybe it can even go in the FAQ's
