car vibrates when wheels spin

when ever my car peals out the car violently vibrates, as if the front of the car is bouncing up and down, because of my suspension mods. my friend said i need motor mounts. is this true? where can i get them and how much. he also said that some people use the stock motor mounts from a 5th gen. thanks.

Actually yes they will, polyurethane engine mounts are what you need. Many people say they make wheelhop less noticeable and you get less vibration from the engine.

nearly all front wheel cars do that. If you do a lot of burn outs and stuff, use crappy tires, with less grip they dont hop. If you are more trying to launch for dragging (which you arent, you're just doing peel outs) new engine mounts would help.

Since you dont NEED the mounts...why bother

This happend to be before, the dash shacks very hard and its kind of like a hard banging? This is my first car so I wasnt sure if it was normal or not. Does this happen when the wheels dont spin and they are gripping?

wheel hop happens when the wheels spin and slide. When they grip...you move forward. The wheel hop is caused by the tires partly gripping during wheel spin, so they kinda catch at ever rotation, cause a bumping and jostling feeling.

Btw,

Repeated wheel hop WILL cause your tranny to self-destruct, eventually.

Proceed with caution.

little bit more engine beef, a lot less struggling by the engine to make the tires spin

stiffer engine mounts and stiffer springs always fix that

AGX strusts are pretty good, but they can give noise issues. Iluminas are becoming more and more popular. Your choice in springs depends on what you are looking for'

either way, its generally because the tires have one spot that is higher and un balanced than the rest of the rubber. While the tire spins, that one part catches and bounces the car. That means basically the tires are gripping too hard. The newer maximas with bigger engines have no wheel hop because they have a loooot more torque...eliminates any issues
