Almost 8 years old with 108,000 miles on it and previously owned, the tranny decided to die. The bearing inside went, and they can not locate any used parts, so looks like im out a tons of money, yay!

this sucks, no mods for me for a while.

 

Get a used lsd tranny. Dont just try to find the bearing. www.car-parts.com

Your not alone my freind, I just spent about $600 on my Max and its still not fixed!

I just brought it back from NISSAN, they want $982 for a new ECU.

Im getting a used one for $125 and dont it myself!

Same thing happened to me buddy. Twice... a Gen III SE 5spd and a Gen IV SE 5spd.

Find a new/rebuilt if you can. Only thing that works.
Good luck finding one. Especially on Gen IV or later. I live in Southern California. At the time I had to replace mine in the 95 SE, only one was located in New York!
