I was looking around the internet and I found this, now, I don't know if this has come up before, or is in the I30/I35 forum or not, I looked around in the 4 gen, but nothing.

This TB came up when searching for 99 I30 on their site... Whether or not it will show gains or is worth it or not, I don't know, but I just wanted to bring this to your attention that it is out there. I still don't know that much about maximas, so if this seems like a stupid post, I appologize

I do not know why you would want that, unless boosted and you have a different intake manifold. The big thing to do is to purchase a 3.5 Liter Pathfinder Throttle body, which is around 70mm then bore the manifold out to near 70mm (66-68mm actual) at the TB opening. It would be useless to have this on there since the physical characteristics of our intake manifolds would cancel out the effect this Veilside TB would have. Now, if a different (Custom) manifold were made to mate with this TB, then that would be perfect. But, that is too expensive, pointless, and would take time, too much time.
Come on! Think about it you guys. The flange of the meeting point between TB and manifold isn't even 100mm including the metal. There is no way this would fit without somehow cutting off the openining and welding a larger one in. Also, if there is a universal fit that would defeat the purpose of a larger TB. The amount of air flowing into manifold is equal to the most restrictive point. If a universal fit was used the stock manifold opening would still be the same, thus not changing the airflow through the most restrictive point. Pathfinder TB's are an example that can work because they are only 5mm larger, not 35. To do a Pathfinder TB swap grinding away 5mm of the manifold opening is required. Thus, enlarging the most restrictive point.
Forgot to mention that this would require almost a MAF Sensor that was larger than 100mm. Wait I'll ship you the TB I have laying around that I can fit my leg through for $2.50.
