Low enough? That's a matter of preference. For me, yes, its lowered enough. Regrets? Maybe I should have saved up for H&Rs. But H&Rs were over twice as much.. =( So yea, if you're considering maxspeeds, maybe save up a bit and get H&Rs. The ride really isn't that great.

I like the ride height... it doesn't look "lowered" - it looks like it should have looked when it rolled off the line. It is stiff enough for a noticable difference in performance (I have a GXE) but not so stiff that I regret it.

If you want the car to 'look' lowered then skip the Maxspeeds. Other than that, I think they are great.

The stance is perfect if you ask me. The front and rear drop are 'right on'... and not slammed to the point where there is little to no suspension travel. (I'm not into that)

They are well worth the hundred bucks they cost. The car looks GOOD without being slammed.

Good Luck!

Basically these Maxspeed springs drop ur car just a tad. Some of my friends ask me if i'm gonna drop my car when it's already dropped. Considering that the wheel gap is so huge on 4th gen maximas (stock), when u drop it with maxspeed springs, it makes it look like stock to other cars. But if you look at it from the front, it looks kinda dropped. After you've installed them, you'll be thinking "there is no drop..this sux...wat a rip off." But you gotta let it settle in and you might be happy. You gotta remember that it's a small drop. And with ride comfort, it's not bad at all. I'm running OEM shocks and at first it was bumpy but it's not terribly bumpy. After I replace the shocks, I'm pretty sure that it would almost feel like the stock suspension. Maybe if you got bigger rims with maxspeed springs, it'd look like a better drop cuz i have 15" sawblades. Handling wise, I felt a diference. It improves it a lot. I've never had any other springs so i wouldn't know how a 1.7" drop would improve your handling but after getting maxspeed springs, the steering wheel stiffened, the turns sharpened, etc. but I'm still not satisfied with the handling. The steering wheel's still flimsy and there's a lot of body roll. I'm planning to get a set of Tein S. Tech soon because the drop isn't working for me anymore. Do it once, do it right~! I hope this was helpful. Bye

They have the same amount of drop (1.5 up front, 1.3 rear)...this page is useful

Thanks for all the info guys...I will be running on stock shocks for awhile and am thinking that the sprints will be too rough on them. But then again I don't wanna buy anything if it doesn't even make the car look lowered.

Look into Intrax, you can pick up a used set for around a bill and the drop is perfect if you ask me.

[Cough]Progress[Cough]

I like the progress springs. The front drop is perfect. Rear sits a little to high for my taste without my sytem in. I don't believe a FD car should have a rake. Handling is good. I did it at the same time as FSTB so it was a large improvement over stock.
